James Ronald Stacey, 84, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He was a proud retired employee of Koetter Woodworking and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was born on August 27, 1938, in Kennett, Missouri, to the late William Stacey and Opal (Jackson) Stacey. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hermelinda Stacey; and his brothers, Sonny, Jerry, and Skip.
Ron is survived by his children, Marisa (Michael) Rowe and Erik (Giovanna) Stacey; grandchildren, Matt, Zander, Abby, Mia, Sarah, Madilynn, and Mayson; and siblings, Roger, David, Sally, Nett, and Connie.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary Navilleton Cemetery.
