James Robert Schaub

James Robert Schaub, age 81 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. Jim was born on May 21, 1942 to the late Frank August and Mary Graham Schaub. A graduate of Flaget High School he attended Jefferson Community College and Sullivan College where he obtained an Associate Degree in accounting and computers. Jim worked at the old A&P grocery as a butcher for 23 years. He was a devoted member of Hikes Point Christian Church since 2013 and former member of Southeast Christian Church. Jim loved studying the Bible, End Times and Prophecy. He also enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing and scuba diving.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Vicki; daughter, Kristina Schaub Sahms; brother, Stephen Graham Schaub (Mary Lou); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10am to 12pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Hikes Point Christian Church 2601 Hikes Ln, Louisville, KY 40218. A celebration of Jim's life will be at 12pm, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Gifts of remembrance may be made to "God's Helping Hand" at Hikes Point Christian Church which helps feed the homeless.
