James Russell Breslin, 60, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He was a Certified Public Accountant. Jim was a fun loving guy that enjoyed horse racing and discussing philosophy. He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Louisville.
He was born on February 25, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Frank H. Breslin and Rosemary Holand. Jim is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Brenda L. (Cannon) Breslin; children, Matthew Biggs (fiancé, Tracy Reesor), Richard Garrett Sanders (fiancé, Lauren Higdon), Lauren H. Breslin, Meredith M. Breslin, James D. Breslin; brother, David H. Breslin; niece, Angela Gipson (Carl); grandchildren, Amber and Mercedes Biggs, Gabriel and Lillian Sanders; great-grandson, Remmington Biggs; and great-niece, Madeleine Gipson.
Cremation was chosen according to Jim's wishes. A celebration of his life will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
