James Leonard Pollock Jr. , 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
He was born on March 1, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his father, James Leonard Pollock, Sr., mother, Carol Ann Hodge, his step dad , Larry Hazelwood , Sr., and his brother, Ralph D. Pollock.
James is survived by his loving family; siblings, Anthony (Leta) Hazelwood, Mary Ann (Chad Elliott) Hazelwood, Larry W. (Shannon) Hazelwood , Jr., Keyon M. Pollock , Sr., and Tammy L. (James) Helm, nieces and nephews, Keyon M. Pollock , Jr., Athena Pollock, Dovie Pollock, Isabella Hazelwood, Charles Hazelwood, Ashley (Mark Williams) Roberts, Carolyn Roberts, Courtney Flemming, Taylor Messer, Shawn Roberts, Megan (Austin Lewis) Roberts, Angel (Anthony Williams) Roberts, James Roberts and Brandon Roberts, along with his great niece and nephew, Connie Williams and Alexander Williams.
James proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was a hard worker; most recently working for Thortons. When he was not working he enjoyed watching Star Wars and Star Trek, UK Sports and most importantly spending time with his friends and family.
