James Newton

June 5, 1950 — December 17, 2011

Mr. James Daniel Newton "Danny", age 61 passed away December 17, 2011. He was a US Army Veteran, and was a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 29 years, the former Colleen Delben; sons, Scott (Stephanie) and Michael (Tonya) Ochsner, Willie and Derek Newton; daughter, Heather Hardin; and 6 adorable grandchildren; brother, Wally; sisters, Mary Taylor and Debbie Willett (Martin). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mass of celebration will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 23rd at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 531 E. Liberty Street, Louisville, KY, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 pm Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Prayers will be 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Danny loved his three dogs as if they were his babies. Therefore, the family requests expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Kentucky Humane Society.
