James Bruce Moser

January 13, 1938 — December 20, 2016

James Bruce Moser, 78, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana went to Heaven on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home after a brief battle with cancer. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from General Electric in Louisville after 31 years.

He was born on January 13, 1938 in Bicknell, Indiana to the late Nick and Christina (Messer) Moser. Jim was also preceded in death by his sister, Billie Watteau.

Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth (Parr) Moser; children, Candy Crone (Tony), Kimberly Duffy (Chip), Kevin Moser; brother, Terry Moser (Beth); grandchildren, Adam Crone (Shawna), Brittney Crone, Haynes Perry V (Kelley), Holdan Perry, Ashton Lindsey-Duffy; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Elijah, Bailee; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12 PM to 6 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) with his Funeral Service taking place at 6 PM. Cremation will follow according to Jim's wishes. He will be laid to rest privately at a later date.

Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, IN 57150).
