James Herbert Miller

James Herbert Miller, 63, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. James was a graduate of Pekin Eastern High School and went on to attend Cumberland College. He was a longtime employee of Wendy's and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. James was a member of Graceland Church.

He was born on August 9, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Herbert Miller and Mae Evelyn (Robbins) Miller. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Leali Moena Derby.

James is survived by his sister, Evelyn Miller; brother, Tony Miller; niece; Jessica Fulkerson; and nephews, Joshua Miller, John Derby, Jr., Michael Derby, and James Derby.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
