James Miles

James Miles, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014. He was a former employee of Wayside Christian Mission in Louisville and enjoyed biking, riding his motor scooter, and listening to Elvis. James was full of life and could be described as a teenager at heart.

James was born on February 17, 1944 in Loretta, Kentucky to the late Dennis and Molly Miles. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christa.

He is survived by his children, Carol Edwards (Sean), Sherry Gibson (Michael), Rik Miles, Roy, Eddie, Jean Mcclellon; siblings, Vickie Jacob, Mary Ellen O'Daniel, Joe Miles; grandchildren, Rachel (Patrick), Aaron, Andrea, Allen (Faith); and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Sacred Cross Oratory (Preuss Plaza, 3682 Highway 150, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119). His Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday at the church with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
