James Harold McGruder, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
He was born on October 27, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Mabel (Pryce) McGruder. He is preceded in death by his Father, James McGruder, Mother, Mabel McGruder, Wife, Carolyn McGruder.
James is survived by his loving family, Children, Sean McGruder, Stacy (Kevin) Hayes, and Chris (Ann) McGruder; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Larry (Lila) McGruder; Sister, Peggy McGruder Keye, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). The wake will be an hour before the service. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at St. Stephen Church with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
