James Keith Lawrence

James Keith "Rabbit" Lawrence, age 56 of Louisville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014. He was a Navy Veteran and was a talented self-employed contractor. His favorite pastime was fishing at Nolin Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Lonsburry Lawrence and his father, James C. Lawrence.

Keith is survived by his loving mother, Jean Lawrence; sisters, Rita Cunningham (Mike), Debby Brown (Ray) and Donna Gaines (John); uncle, Ephraim K. Lawrence; nieces and nephews, Philip Brown, Jimmy Cunningham, Courtney Fages (Tim), Ryan Peabody (Lindsay) and Chris Peabody. Also mourning his loss are his close friends at Fern and Moodys, and his life-long best friend, Bobby Harlow.

Visitation will be 11am – 2 pm Friday, January 10, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with service at 2pm. Burial will follow in Harrods Creek Cemetery.

Keith believed in doing for others, and "pay it forward" was his belief. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
