James Joseph Bartelt, 57, of Louisville, KY passed away on June 27, 2014. Jimmy enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working outdoors, and animals. He was a good storyteller and always liked chasing the girls. He considered himself a lady's man.
Jimmy was born on January 3, 1957, in Louisville to the late Roy and Patricia (Bach) Bartelt. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Stephen Anthony Bartelt and William Theodore Bartelt Sr.
He is survived by his sisters, Marianne Patricia Bartelt, Margaret Elizabeth Flinn, Judy Marie Neville, and Brenda Annette Diaz; brother, Roy Edward Bartelt Jr., and many loving extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with funeral immediately following at 7:00 pm.
