James Allen Mathison, Sr.

James (Jim) Mathison Sr formerly of McVille, ND passed away June 4, 2022 at home with his family.
RFD TV has lost their biggest fan and now someone else will need to promote John Deere tractors.
He was born April 16, 1935 in McVille, ND the son of the late Jens and Bertha Mathison. He served in the US Army and was retired from General Motors and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
He is survived by his sister Betty Jane Mathison, 4 Children, 2 Step Children, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grand Children and one Niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin sons, his first wife Dorothy and his second wife Betty, his brother Arnold Mathison and his sister Lillian Fockler.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). Military Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the funeral service.
A private burial will be held at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro, NJ at a later date.
