James William Hilton

James William "Jim" Hilton, 75, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, John Hilton.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandi Hilton; sons, Paul (Carrie) Hilton and Tim (Malin) Hilton; brother, Bob (Debbie) Hilton; sister, Barbara (Keith) Barilleaux; sister-in-law, Sheila Hilton; grandchildren, Zach Hilton and 2 on the way; and his nieces and nephews.
Jim loved his grandson Zach best of all. They had fun feeding squirrels, having squirt gun battles, and sharing ice cream cones. Jim adored his furry cat son, Tiger, and spent endless hours lovingly holding him. His great professional achievements were developing a rocket launcher for the F4 Phantom fighter jet, fine tuning the Gemini spacecraft, and, last of all, being the Deputy Chief Engineer for the Ohio River Bridges project.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Shawnee Baptist Church (2214 Bank Street, Louisville, KY 40212). His Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. Jim will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
