James E. Helm Jr., 65, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and camping. Jim always had a helping hand for the people around him.
He was born on November 26, 1953 to the late James Sr. and Evelyn (Sinkhorn) Helm.
Jim is survived by his children, Jim Helm, Gary Helm, Wesley Helm and Kimberly Niece; partner, Robin Byrd; step-children, Erin Sizemore (Michael), Heather Howell (Bobby) and Emily Delisle (Philippe); and grandchildren, Westen, Jalen and Shelby.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral will follow at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow according to Jim's wishes.
