James John Hayes Jr., 75, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. James was a loving husband, dad, and pop. He retired from General Electric of thirty five years. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.
He was born on March 14, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Myrtle (Nix) Hayes. He is preceded in death by his Father, James John Hayes, Sr., Mother, Myrtle E. Hayes, Sisters, JoAnn Landberg and Patty Hayes.
James is survived by his loving Wife of 51 years Linda L. Hayes; Daughters, Wendy Marie Martin and Jennifer Lynn Evans; Grandchildren, Dalston Keller and Paige Martin; Siblings, Gary Hayes, Mike Hayes, Brenda Harper, Joey Hayes, and Billy Hayes, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
The family will be gathering on Thursday October 27, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the home of James Hayes in Taylorsville, KY.
