Goins, James Stanley, 69, of Louisville, passed away in his home Sunday, June 10, 2012.
He was a Butcher with Kroger and Fischer Packing, and Past Master of Masonic Lodge 820. He spent many years working with Boy Scout Troop 1.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Trudi; children, Druanne (Carl) Colbert and Stanley Pruitt Goins (Erica) and grandchildren Heather and Nick Colbert, and Dustin and Rebecca Goins; brother, Donald (Charlotte) Goins and sister, Edna Jean Rucker.
Masonic Service 7 PM Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery at 10:30 AM Wednesday. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-7 PM. Memorial Gifts may be made to Boy Scouts of America.
