James Gish
July 31, 1926 — August 10, 2014
James Thomas Gish, 88, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on August 10, 2014. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and had been employed at Monarch and Bales Motors for years.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Bronwyn Benford; son-in-law, Skip Benford; grandson, Scott Benford; granddaughter, Amy Snider; two great grandchildren,, Reed Benford and Irie Snider; two sisters, Jenny Smith and Dorthy Jean Gatton.
Jim's wishes were to be cremated. There will be a graveside service with military honors at 2 PM on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens (3600 Kamer-Miller Road, New Albany, IN 47150). Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) is taking care of the arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may be made the American Heart Association (3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674).
