James M. Garnett Jr.

James M. Garnett Jr., passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the age of 85. He was the son of the late James M. Garnett Sr., and Mary Ellen Garnett. He served in the United States Airforce as an Airman. He retired from International Harvester Company. He is preceded in death by his Father, his Mother, granddaughter, Teana M. Swain, his sisters Mary A. Bertrand, Francis L. Monroe, Rose M. Garnett and brother Ralph Garnett. He is survived by his daughter Angela L. Garnett, his sister Josephine Garnett and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held from10:30 am - 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 22nd at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service honoring James will take place at 12:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central, 2501 North Dixie Boulevard, Radcliff, Kentucky 40160.
