James E. Mattingly
James E. "Jim" Mattingly, 61, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Jim was born on August 7, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Blair) Mattingly.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Connie S. (Miller) Mattingly; stepchildren, Christy Redden (James) of Salem, IN, Kimberly Wirth (Sean) of Sellersburg, IN; siblings, Brenda Collins of Scottsburg, IN, Ricky Thompson of Louisville, KY, Bonnie "Beverly" Nieder of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, and Brandon Schuley, Eden and Erik Wirth.
Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
