James E. Cravens

February 20, 1939 — August 12, 2016

James E. Cravens (Jim) 77, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at his residence after a long illness. Jim retired from G.E. Appliance Park after 27 years of service.

Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlotte Cravens, his children Pamela (Benny) Jump, Theresa (Jimmy) Sprenger, Lisa Cravens, Stuart (Abby) Cravens, step-children, Michelle Burton and Marc Muir, he is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother, Tom (Jackie) Cravens of Pineville, South Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and great neighbors.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, Kentucky 40243).
