James L. Cummings, 66, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was born on September 11, 1955, in Perry County, Indiana. Jim was an avid drag racer, who also enjoyed DJing in his free time. He spent most of his life working as a truck driver.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Trisha Brabandt; sister, LouAnn Mclain; sister, Sandy (Dennis) Conrad; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Esther Mueler; and brother, Bobby Cummings.
Cremation was chosen, and no services will be held at this time. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) was entrusted with his care.
