James William Crutcher

James "Jim" William Crutcher, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. Jim honorably served his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend who loved his family more than anything on this earth. Jim will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on March 7, 1943 in Carrollton, Kentucky to Floyd and Margaret Crutcher. He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Crutcher and mother, Margaret Crutcher.

Jim is survived by his loving family, mother of his girls, Janice Rhodes; daughters, Mary C. (Brendan) McCarty, Susan R. Wolfe, and Teresa K. (Robert) Crutcher; grandchildren, Katelyn (Clay) Craddock, Landon (Amanda) Herm, Marina (Gavyn) Herm, Ian McCarty, Caleb Winn, and Hayden Winn; great-grandchildren, Kendall Craddock, Calvin James Craddock, and Axel Duncan; siblings, Mary Kendoll, Robbie Crutcher-Webb, and Robert "Bob" Crutcher. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

His Graveside Service will be at 2:30 pm on Monday October 18th, 2021, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central).

The family requests that contributions in Jim's memory be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
