James "Jimmy" Robert Brown, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
He was born on October 12, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Anna (Embry) Brown . Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Tammy Vandiver, Brenda Sharp, Margaret Hunter, Sylvia Cox and Chuck Brown.
Jimmy retired from Consolidated Freight after 20 plus years of employment. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, boating and riding his motorcycle.
Jimmy is survived by his better half / significant other, Brenda Holmes, his brother, Buster Brown and several nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy), with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd).
The family requests that contributions in James 's memory be made to the National Alliance of Mental Health Illness (donorsservices@nami.org)
