James Thomas Brinley

James Thomas Brinley, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. 

He was born on October 2, 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roy Thomas Brinley and Rita Diann (Johnson) Runner. 

During his life he studied to be a pastor. He enjoyed to be in the ROTC in High School and was as graduate of Jeffersontown High School. He was a sportsman and loved fishing and hunting. James was a security guard at St. Matthew's Mall. 

James is survived by his mother, Rita Diann Runner, father, Roy Thomas Brinley (Alice), sister Angela Bartee (James) and niece Jessica Bartee. 

Cremation was chosen and all services will be private.
