James "J.B." Braggs, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 24, 2018.
James was born on June 29, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Thedward and Semmie (Streeter) Braggs. He was a 1971 graduate of Iroquois High School and retired from Transit Authority of River City (TARC) after 20 years of service where he enjoyed playing on the TARC softball team.
James was also and active member and deacon of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church after many dedicated years of service.
He was an active member of the club The Royal Flush where he participated in many social event, an avid UofL Cards basketball and football fan and loved to cook.
James is survived by his wife Alisa Braggs, daughter Scherrill Braggs, step-son Antonio Calloway, Sr., step-daughter Ashley Nicole Mason, grandson Antonio Calloway, Jr., and great granddaughter Aaliyah Rose Calloway. He is also survived by his brother Ronnie Lee Braggs, Sr. (Brenda), nephew Ronnie Lee Braggs, Jr. (Tasha) and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church (714 South Shelby Street Louisville, KY 40203) with burial to follow Pewee Valley Cemetery East.
