James Michael Baird

James Michael "Mike" Baird, 65, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born on May 30, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late James and Linda (Broadus) Baird. Earlier in life, Mike was dedicated to being an Eagle Scout, which he shared with his son. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather to his family.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rebecca "Becky" Baird; son, Christopher (Kristen) Baird; brothers, Steve (Julie) Baird and Brian Baird; grandchildren, Calleigh, Ryan, Ben, and Laney; father-in-law, Joseph Glover, Jr.; brother-in-law, William Glover; and brother-in-law, Dennis L. (April) Glover, Sr.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana.
