James E. Bailey, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

He was born on January 31, 1948 in Florence, Alabama.

James is survived by his mother, Louise J. Allen; sisters, Marcia Allen, Deborah Payne (Carroll) all of Louisville, KY; brother, Glen "Hootie" Allen, Jr. (Donette) of Shelbyville, KY; 1 aunt, Dorothy Jones of Lexington, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm EST on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm CST on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Saints Funeral Home in Florence, Alabama with burial to follow at Bailey's Chapel in Killen, Alabama.

The family requests that contributions in James's memory be made to Friendship Health and Rehab, LLC.
