James "Alan" Lone
June 12, 1969 — July 8, 2013
James "Alan" Lone, 44, passed away on July 8, 2013 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed both fishing and hunting.
Alan was born on June 12, 1969 in Louisville to Paul L. Lone and the late Belva (Kraft) Sharp. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Sandra Lone.
Along with his father, he is survived by his children, Lindsay, Michael, Allen Hinson; siblings, Teresa Watkins (Brad), Paul Brian Lone, Steven "Brad" Lone, Daniel Mann (Tracy); granddaughter, Zoey Hinson; former wife and best friend, Leah (Whitworth) Lone; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 3 PM to 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 7 PM. Burial will take place at a later date at Bethlehem Cemetery in Crandall, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter (215 W. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
