Jacqueline "Jackie" Adams Miller, 92, of Owensboro, passed away May 7, 2012. She was born August 27, 1919 in Wichita, KS to William and Leora Adams. Jackie and her husband, John S. Miller, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2011. Her life focused mainly on her family and her interests included Bible study, painting and reading.
A long-time member of First Baptist Church, she is survived by her husband, John S. Miller, and two children, Phillip W, Miller (Paula) of Brunswick, GA and Susan Keating (Joe) of Louisville; two grandchildren, Brein Miller (Allie) and Brandie Vanover (Stephen), and four great-grandchildren; Johnavin, Gavin, Stephen and Mariah Vanover.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm CST / 3:00 pm EST, at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hosparus of Louisville and to First Baptist Church.
