Jacqueline Marie (Moore) Davis, 79, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014.
She was born on September 29, 1934 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Louis B. and Bertha (Jackson) Moore. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton F. Davis, Jr.
Jacqueline is survived by her children, Bobbie Wills, Nikki Hublar (Jeff), Tom Davis, Julia Murphy, Peter James Davis; sister, Mary Kay Carney (Ted); grandchildren, Lori Fox, Shannon Pavey, Lindsay Hublar-Beets (Jordan), Chance Hublar, Autumn Murphy, Tyler Combs, Logan Davis; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Jacqueline's wishes. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service to be held at 1 PM. Jacqueline will be laid to rest in New Albany National Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association (55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601) or to a local animal shelter of the donor's choice.
