Jacqueline "Jackie" Halsel

Jackie Halsel, age 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, departed this world on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

A devoted mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, adoring granny, and steadfast friend, Jackie was a remarkable soul whose kindness knew no bounds. She had an unwavering spirit and an infectious love for those around her, always striving to uplift others. A true “Momma’s Girl,” Jackie held a special reverence for her mother, demonstrating the profound bond that only a daughter can share with her mother. Her family and friends will feel her absence deeply, as her warmth and generosity were constants in their lives.

Born on July 15, 1958, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jackie was the beloved daughter of Roland and Elsie Halsel. She is preceded in death by her father, Roland Halsel, and her brother, Garry Halsel.

Jackie is survived by her devoted mother, Elsie Halsel; her sons, Leallen Halsel and Gerald Halsel; her brother, Jeffrey Halsel; her sister, Cheryl Parker; three adoring grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family who will hold her memory dear.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m.
