Jacob Cole McCarty, 14, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was an honor roll student at Corydon Junior High School.
He was born on May 16, 2007, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Jacob is survived by his father, Jeremiah McCarty; as well as many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paddy Sipes and Bob McCarty.
Jacob will be laid to rest privately at the Sipes Family Cemetery in Corydon. A celebration of his life will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the Crandall Community Center (6120 Main Street NE, Crandall, IN 47114).
