Jack Wayne Hankins

Jack Wayne Hankins, age 84, of Prospect, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. He was a career Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church where he was involved in Pastoral Care and C.O.P.E. (Coalition of Prison Evangelists). He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie and his parents, John and Sennie Thomas Hankins.

Jack is survived by his children, Jackie Hankins, Jr. (Lisa), Deborah Benzick, Michelle Dunn,William C. Hankins (Janice) and Eileen M. Warren (Scott), Laura Jean Ziegler (Al), Elizabeth Ann Sarantinoudis and David Hankins (Elena); grandchildren, Angela, Laura, John, Jenna, William (Alex), Cassie, Madison, Zane, Audrey, Nicholas, Tonya Puckett (Bobby), Crystal Lee, Michael Dunn and Brandon Dunn; 6 Great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Crosby and many other family members and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 11am Friday, August 16, 2013 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway with burial to follow at 2pm at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky. Visitation will be 4 -8 pm Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, and from 9am Friday until time of service at the church.
