Jack William Miller, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at his vacation home in Clermont, Florida.
Jack was born on December 9, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Bill & Jessie (Snipp) Miller. He was united in marriage to Mary Couch on September 29, 1957 and to this union brought four children to bless their home. Jack won a national championship as a member of the World Series Louisville Softball Team ages 75 & over.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary (Couch) Miller; son, Jack Miller (Michelle) of Salem, IN; daughter, Marsha Guetig (Rob) of Cambellsburg, IN; son, Todd Miller (Michelle) of Salem, IN; eight grandchildren, Carrie, Seth, Leah, & Cassie Miller, Darren & Hayle Guetig, and Brooke & Brittany Miller; two sisters, Carol Gullian of Underwood, IN & Pat Jensen (Dan) of Orange City, Florida. Along with his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Lynette Miller.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 3 to 7 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church (833 S Triangle Road, Paoli, IN). His Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday at the church with burial immediately following at Saint Andrews Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN) is in charge of the arrangements.
