Irma Eugenia (Meneou) Ballew, 89, passed away on July 17, 2012. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Mattoon, Illinois, to the late Benjamin Edward & Flora Mae (Downy) Meneou.
Irma is survived by her children, Glenn Edwards (Cindy), Becky Cox (Mike), Lavon Atherton (Ronald), & Teresa Ballew; sister, Mona Hansford; 13 grandchildren; and many great & great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Meneou; sister, Cecil Welz; and her former husbands, George Pixley and Chester Ballew.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 2 to 6 PM on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Craig Park Community Center (109 Craig Park, Scottsburg, IN).
