Iris E. Mueller

Iris E. Mueller, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, entered Heaven on Monday, July 12, 2021. Iris was my loving wife, our mom, grandma, sister, and friend. Iris accomplished everything she set her mind to. She was determined and fiercely loyal to family and friends. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren and loved her many pets dearly. We will all miss her love, her compassion, and her ability to enlighten everyone else's day.

She was born on May 10, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to Carl and Nora Hardin. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Leonard Hardin and mother, Nora Ethel Hardin; son, John "Christopher" Mueller; brothers, Curtis Hardin and Ray Hardin.

Iris is survived by her loving Husband of 54 years, John G Mueller; children, Pamela (Bill) Shartzer-Lamar and Keith E. Jolly; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grandchildren; siblings, Glenn Hardin, Julie (Jerry) Hardin, Clifford Hardin, and Lori (Don) Surface. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
