Ian Walter Mckenzie

Ian Walter McKenzie, 57, loving husband, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, formerly of Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He was a graduate of Franklin Pierce College, an avid fisherman, and a long-time employee of Samtec in New Albany where he conducted worldwide sales.

Ian was born on April 7, 1957 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late William B. "Bill" and Eleanor (Brown) McKenzie. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bruce McKenzie.

He is survived by his wife, I Chieh "Jennifer" McKenzie; daughters, Danielle and Carolyn McKenzie; in-laws, Andy and Sharon Su, Jeffers Wu, Trista Tsai; nieces and nephews, Alec, Fiona, Laura Wu, William and Christine Su.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Ian's wishes.
