Hubert Earl Disney, 94, passed away Thursday, 5/12/22, in Louisville, KY. He was born in Corbin, KY on September 11, 1927, to the late Spence and Violet Disney. He served in WWII with the US Army. He married Mary Delores Lloyd on September 17, 1949. After 30 years, he retired from the L&N/Seaboard Coastline Railroad as a machinists foreman.
Always an avid UK fan, he instilled his love for the Wildcats in his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary Delores (Doe) Disney; sons Jeff (Mary Beth) of Palm Coast, FL, and Kevin, of Louisville, KY; grandchildren Nicholas (Mandy) of Puyallup, WA and Sarah (Alan) of Monroe, GA. He also leaves 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
