Hilton L. Minton
May 24, 1933 — November 2, 2023
Hilton L. Minton, 90, born to the late Alma and Elzo Minton of Mayfield, KY, passed away November 2, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville.
He survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, the former Patricia "Pat" Suzanne Craig and his children, Kaye Lynn, Stephen Craig, and Wallace "Wally" Bradley.
He and his wife met in a history class at the University of Kentucky and he was "smitten" the first time he saw her. - not so much on her part as he was always saying she would not even hold his hand when they began dating - She was very shy. At UK he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and served as Social Chairman.
Hilton was very involved in Middletown Organizations, such as President of the Optimist Club, Vice President of Middletown Recreation, and a member of Middletown Christian Church for many years. He was a long time member of Senior Softball Teams and retired as an Engineer from Ford Assembly Plant after 22 years.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Doctors Vincent Lang, Rebecca McFarland, and Sebastian Pagni, as well as all of the Baptist Health Care workers that assisted throughout his many surgeries and illnesses.
Hilton will be laid to rest in a private service at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville. No public service will be held at this time. Newcomer Funeral Home's East Louisville Chapel in Middletown in charge of arrangements.
