Herman Beach

Herman G. Beach, 87, of Greenville, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010 surrounded by his family. Herman was a lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana.

Herman was born on March 11, 1923 in Greenville to the late Covert and Clara (Kiesler) Beach. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances (Bickel) Beach and daughter, Barbara Beach.

He is survived by his children, Jerry Beach of San Francisco, California, Joyce Coleman and her husband, Roger of Borden, Indiana, Glenn Beach and his wife, Robin of Palmyra, Indiana, Joan Purucker and her husband, John of Augusta, Georgia, Theresa Gettelfinger and her husband, Stephen, of Salem, Indiana, Kenneth Beach and his wife, Brenda of Pekin, Indiana, Beth Gettelfinger and her husband, Chris of Pekin, Keith Beach and his wife, Anita of Lanesville, Indiana and Marc Beach and his wife, Trish of Pekin; 27 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church (11400 Farmer's Lane Northeast, Bradford, IN 47124). A Rosary Service will take place Sunday at 4 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, November 29, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Bradford with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to St. Michael's Catholic Church.
