Herbert M. Fletcher, Sr. "Bae" was born to the Fred Fletcher and Mary Bruce in Grayson County, Ky.
"Bae" as he was affectionally called by family and friends, graduated from Leitchfield High School in 1968, and later moved to Louisville, KY, where he found work in Accounting. After a while he decided to follow his heart and begin working "with his hands" in the construction industry. Bae was a die-hard Cardinal fan and enjoyed going to and watching his Cardinals during basketball and football season proudly wearing his Louisville attire and flashing his "L".
Bae was raised in the church and was proud to speak of his relationship with God. Even though he was unable to physically attend church, he would often watch on YouTube and Facebook live on Sundays.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Fred Fletcher, Mary Fletcher, Hattie Drummond and Russell Fletcher.
