Utley, Henry Cabell "Cab" 83 passed away March 30th.
He was born and raised in Henderson, KY
He served in the U S Navy during WW II, attended the University of Kentucky, and became a partner in the Insurance Agency of Hayes, Foster and Utley.
He was an accomplished aerobatic pilot flying aerobatic competition in Air Shows and received may awards. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and became an avid golfer.
He and Betty Kay spent the winters in Florida where he played golf the year around.
Cab was preceded in death by a daughter Anne, one brother and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife Betty Kay Hammack Utley; daughter, Holly Bohannon (David); son, David Nettles (Kerry); brother Harry S. "Barney" Utley.
A special thanks to all of Cab's friends that visited and all of the nurses and CNAS that cared for him at Oaklawn.
Funeral ceremony 10 AM Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation 1-7 PM Tuesday.
