Henry Lee Keizer
June 21, 1952 — October 18, 2019
Henry Lee Keizer, age 67, died on October 18, 2019 after a short battle with cancer at his home in Louisville, KY.
Henry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth (Reicks) Keizer; son, Benjamin (Jennifer) of San Antonio, TX; son, David (Naghmeh Khodai) of West Hills, CA; daughter, Kathryn (Gideon) Thurman of Crestwood, KY; grandchildren, Lyla, Elsie, Gabrielle, Lincoln, and Silas Keizer of San Antonio, Landon Keizer of West Hills, and Isaac, Nora, Lucy and Levi Thurman of Crestwood; his sister, Peggy Keizer, of Sioux Falls, SD; his father and mother-in-law Francis and Lucille Reicks; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Marie (Aberson) Keizer of Alton, IA and his brother, Thomas of Minnetonka, MN.
His funeral is scheduled for November 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (3303 160th St. Lawler, IA 52154) in Little Turkey, Iowa with Rev. Aaron Junge officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on November 2, 2019 with dinner following interment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Little Turkey. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Henry's life.
Cremation services were performed by Newcomers Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in Middletown, KY.
