Henry Herndon Ellis III, 47, passed away at his home on Monday, May 24, 2022. He was born to Herndon Ellis Jr. & Ronda Ellis in Louisville, Kentucky on January 1, 1975.

Herndon loved enjoying the great outdoors: hunting, fishing, & camping, a true "wildlife advocate". He frequented the Red River Gorge as his "nature getaway". He was a big University of Kentucky & Indianapolis Colts fan.

Herndon is preceded by his grandparents, Henry & Betsy Ellis, & James & Lillian Imel, and his aunt & uncles, James Jr. & Betty Imel, & Ray Imel.

He is survived by his parents, Herndon Ellis Jr. & Ronda Ellis; his brother, Jim Ellis; his fiancé, Cynthia Redmon; his aunts & uncle, Jess & Ann Ellis, & Patricia Imel, many cousins, and other relatives and friends who will all miss him very much.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 12:00PM – 4:00PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY) with services to follow at 4:00PM.
