Helga Hildegard Hardesty, 83, of Louisville passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born on July 16, 1941 in Berlin, Germany. She met her husband of 55 years, Edgar Eugene Hardesty, Jr., while he was stationed in Germany with the Air Force. Helga enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and bunco. She will be dearly missed by her extended family members and her bunco friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Eugene Hardesty, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February, 27, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). A funeral service will follow that day at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial following at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood.
