Helen Marie Rainbolt

Helen Marie (Bigler) Rainbolt, 83, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Old State Capital #2950 in Corydon, Indiana; the Federal Order of the Eagles #1527 in Jeffersonville, Indiana; and the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 227 (Kroger).

She was born on November 30, 1934, to the late Clarence and Laura (Jackson) Bigler. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alva Rainbolt, Jr.; and brothers, Paul and Roy Bigler.

Helen is survived by her son, Dale W. Rainbolt and his wife, Terri; brothers, Wilbur "Bud" Bigler and Chester "Chet" Bigler and his wife, Jane; grandson, Devin Rainbolt; and granddaughter, Vanessa Rainbolt.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her final resting place will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon, Indiana.
