Helen (Maceiko) Chariw

Helen (Maceiko) Chariw, 86, passed away on October 21, 2012 at her home. She was born on December 25, 1925 in Buttonwood PA to the late Nicholas and Anna Maceiko. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Chariw; and son, Peter Chariw.
She is survived by her children, Jennie Galamin (Bob), Michael Chariw (Elizabeth Barresi); grandchildren, Paul and Nicole Galamin, Christopher and Jaclyn Chariw.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Additional services and burial will take place in Bayonne, New Jersey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus – the Hospice Community of Southern Indiana.
