Hector Anaya-Soto, 54, lost his long battle with cancer September 1, 2012 at his home in Louisville, KY surrounded by his family.
Hector Anaya-Soto was born August 1, 1958 in Arroyo, Puerto Rico to his mother and late father. From a young age Hector was a very determined individual; he could do anything he put his mind to. Hector was a hard worker and provider. He began working at the tender age of 13 years old and only stopped in 2008 when cancer forced him to.
He is preceded in death by his father; brothers and sisters and and their spouses.
He is survived by his caring wife of 22 years, Carmen Anaya; his children: Hector, Jr. Gonzalez, Leslie Gonzalez, Aileen Gonzalez, Hector Luis Anaya, Yahaira Galarza-Barrett, Joycelyn Galarza and Blanca Gonzalez; grandchildren: Jessy, Crystal, Melody Ashlynn, Desmond, Lyzaiah and Hector II Gonzalez, Yazmarie Camacho, Nahtaly Barrett, and Jaynalis Gonzalez; and a host of friends.
