Heather (Young) Cobb

Heather (Young) Cobb, 55, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She worked at Norton Hospital for over 20 years and was currently the owner/operator of River City Surgical. Heather was an auxiliary member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.

She was born on September 11, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky. Heather was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Young; and step-father, Charlie Roberson.

Heather is survived by her husband, Greg Cobb; children, Julianna Hawes, Joshua Hawes, Heather Hawes (Ben), Caleb Hawes (Tess), Holly Cobb, Brett Cobb (Hannah), Cassie Estrin (Josh); grandchildren, Esme, Ezra, Logan, Audrey, Aly, Lyla, Maverick, Andy; mother, Dianne (Buckley) Roberson; and siblings, David Young, Damion Young (Misty Duke) and Brandi Payne (Justin).

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Heather's wish.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Heather's memory may be made to Stache Strong - Supporting Brain Cancer Research.
