Hazel F.(Wheatley) Werner

Hazel F. (Wheatley) Werner, 88, of Borden, Indiana passed away on July 30, 2012. A resident of Daisy Hill in Borden, Indiana, Hazel was a skilled and talented seamstress. She was also known in the area for hosting many large yard sales over the years.

Hazel was born on May 15, 1924 in Breckenridge County, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Josie (Glasscock) Wheatley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Werner; ten siblings; and good friend, Elwood Mulls. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Turner, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
